Olivia's Intern Blog: July 19
Everyone has an ideal vacation. Do you enjoy swimming in the ocean and
tanning on the beach? Or maybe you’d rather ski down the slopes of Utah’s Wasatch Mountains. I would do almost anything – seriously – for a few days at a spa. I can’t think of anything more relaxing than a weekend packed with deep tissue massages, full body mud wraps, and calming steam rooms. Having nothing on my schedule except soothing treatments in a serene facility with an attentive staff is what I consider the perfect vacation. Luckily for me, my sister and mother are fans as well and are going to join me in a few weeks to unwind from our busy summers at The Spa at Norwich Inn. This oasis filled with guests strolling around in white robes has always been kind to us as we can easily put together a weekend full of treatments. We can also enjoy a number of its daily complimentary activities, including the morning meditation, afternoon tea and scones, and early evening wine tasting. Connecticut Magazine was spot on when they raved about The Spa at Norwich Inn’s high level of comfort. One of my favorite aspects about this Inn is how you can continue your stress free experience as you dine in your cozy robe at either of its restaurants – Kensington’s or Ascot’s Pub. In case you are feeling like getting some fresh air, you can join the morning walk or bask in the sun at the pool and outdoor lounge areas. My experiences at The Spa at Norwich Inn have consistently been nothing but perfect and I highly recommend a visit to anyone looking to have a change of pace and revel in the luxury of tranquility. This time I’m so looking forward to trying the Milk and Honey Body Wrap!
